Soccer

You've already seen the first touch.

The ball goes over the top. You time the run, stay onside, and take one touch to set it. A midfielder checks the shoulder as the first pass comes. A keeper checks the posts, sets the angle, and organizes the back line. The hard moment is named before it happens. Identity in Christ is the ground under that picture. Compete From Victory.

Built by a hockey dad, for athletes 13 and up. The same visualization also runs hockey (first shift), basketball (first possession), golf (first tee), football (first snap), baseball (first pitch), and lacrosse.

See it before kickoff.

You pick Forward, Midfielder, Defender, or Goalkeeper, then up to three plays from your position's library. The audio walks the first touch of that job, then the hard one: the giveaway, the missed chance, the goal that's on you. You have already been there once.

Daily training

One mental skill, then a picture of tomorrow's first moment. About five minutes. Built for a school night, not a chapel hour.

Pregame on the field

Five minutes, headphones on. Kickoff. You check your shoulder as the first pass comes, or you're on the last defender's shoulder timing the run. The hard moment is named. The body knows the cue.

Pre-practice lock-in

Get a ball at your feet and take your first touch with purpose. Scan before you receive. Complete your first pass. Tuesday training uses the same picture as Saturday's kickoff.

See the first ball before it comes.

Forward

Take your spot on the last defender's shoulder. Time the run, stay onside, one touch to set it — then pass it across into the far corner. The sitter that goes over the bar doesn't write the next chance.

Midfielder

Check your shoulder as the first pass comes. Receive with a presser on your back, turn out of it with one touch, and play forward into the runner. Give one away? Head up before the next ball arrives.

Defender

Set your line, check your shoulder, pick up the striker. Show the attacker the touchline and match the next touch. The runner who gains half a yard already has a recovery path back inside. And when the game asks you forward — overlap and deliver.

Goalkeeper

Check your posts, set your angle, and organize the back line before the first ball. Call it, come through the traffic, take it cleanly. A soft goal doesn't write the next shot.

The picture stands on settled ground.

A 13-year-old starting out wide, a 16-year-old on an academy trial, a 20-year-old fighting for college minutes: the first moment is still a real touch. Identity in Christ is the ground under that picture, not the headline of every paragraph. A cut, a benching, or a goal that was on you does not reopen it. You play free because the standing is already settled.

This is visualization training, not a locker-room chapel talk. Not therapy. Not for anyone under 13.

Hebrews 12:1–2
“Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.”

You already stand on the touchline. They see the first touch before kickoff.

A parent buys and manages the account for athletes 13–17. You see rhythm: they showed up. You do not see what they prayed or which hard moment they named. 18+ can train on their own. 14 days free, then $5/mo or $49/yr for the first athlete. $3/$29 for each additional. Cancel anytime.
